Browse provides a single search box for finding words and phrases in specific record areas (authors, titles, series, subjects).
Browse results are returned in alphabetical or numerical order (depending on the Browse option), placing you closest to the search word(s) entered.
• Advanced search:
Advanced search can be helpful if you are looking for specific items but do not know, for example, the complete name of an author or all the words of a title. This form can also help you develop more precise search strategies to combine or exclude search words or phrases.
Advanced search contains several sets of search boxes with associated attributes, tied together with Boolean operators (and, or, not).
You can also refine your search by adding limits such as location, language, type of material (e.g., book, periodical, movie...).
• Keyword search:
Keyword search provides a single search box to find words and phrases located anywhere in the record.
